About this website

This site is intended for the  layman who needs to know a little about the technology of his printer, how to care for it and how to choose a machine which is  best suited to the task to be performed.

Apart from the banner, which will be slow to load if you are using a dial-up connection, the site is almost entirely text so that it will load quickly. Fixing the banner is a task for my spare time (if I ever have any). The site is currently undergoing some redevelopment which will make it more "user-friendly".

To find out about your printer, or intended purchase, just follow the technology you are considering - Laser, Inkjet or Dot Matrix and look up the outline and tips for each type.

At some future time, we may put a few small pictures into the site to break the monotony.  Go to the "About Us" page to find out about the site owners and to the Calendar dates to find out when we will next be in Northern Tasmania.
