Printertech is a small family firm, formerly known as LT Computer Services (1989), based south of Hobart, Tasmania, that operates throughout the state, and interstate on occasion.  Printertech is a trading name of LT Computer Services which still exists, and some clients who have computer work done will find invoices raised over the banner of this firm. We service most makes and models of printer and recycle printer consumables of many types - that is dot matrix (ribbon), inkjet (small cartridges) and laser (toner) cartridges.

We belong to the Australasian Cartridge Remanufacturer's Association, a national association striving to bring the advantages of recycling to the community and encouraging its members into a regime of service and quality. We offer free pick-up and delivery of your toner cartridges and printers in the Hobart metro area, and return to you the same cartridge that you give us, complete with information on it's recycling, and in most cases provide a test page demonstrating your cartridge's performance after refurbishment - and we offer a free printer cleaning service to our regular clients.

Our turn-around time on your cartridges is kept as short as possible - ink jet and dot matrix recycling will generally require us to have your cartridges for a week, laser cartridges originating in and around Hobart can mostly be returned to you within 3 or 4 days, printer repairs also will generally take 3 or 4 days for us to be able to complete (if parts are not in stock), test, and return to you. However, in any emergency we can service your printer overnight or, if you are one of our larger clients, we may be able to provide you with a loan printer to cover the time your machine is out of service.

To introduce you to our staff, Lloyd is the technician and serviceman - he does most of the pick-ups and deliveries, and it's him with whom you'll deal when on-site service is required. Lorraine keeps track of all the accounts, ensures invoices are correct and generally keeps the financial side of the business in order - for any inquiries regarding payments, speak to her. Ron is our cartridge technician and general small service operative. He does a lot of our workshop work, remanufacturing toner cartridges and cleaning keyboards, etc. 

We operate our business from premises in Kingston, a satellite/dormitory suburb approximately 12 minutes from the centre of Hobart. The surroundings are pleasant and offer us easy access to the larger percentage of our client base.

While most of our work is in and around Hobart, we also service the North and North-West of the state, making regular overnight trips to Launceston once a fortnight, to  keep in touch with all our clients in the area and checking to see if you have any empty cartridges whenever we're around.
